2026 Academy Student Show at Art League Academy

Art League students will take center stage this March at Art League Academy’s Annual Student Show, a celebration of creativity, growth, and artistic achievement.

The exhibition showcases artwork created in Academy classes over the past year, highlighting a diverse range of media, techniques, and personal styles.

This beloved annual event honors both the accomplishments of our students and the instructors who have inspired and guided them along their artistic journeys. Students will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work during this four-week public exhibition, open at Art League Academy from March 9 through April 3, 2026.

The Awards Reception, fondly known as The Academy Awards, will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 5–7pm. Guest juror Art Cornell will select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mention awards, while attendees will cast their votes for the People’s Choice Award. Following the reception, Art will provide written critiques for each piece, offering valuable feedback to every participant. These critiques will be transcribed and shared via email by the Academy Manager before the exhibition concludes.

One outstanding student whose work demonstrates exceptional mastery of medium, style, and subject will receive the 2026 Michael Pearson Award, which includes a $400 gift card toward future classes at Art League Academy. Funded by Michael’s widow, Robert Pearson, this award honors Michael’s legacy and her enduring commitment to arts education.

All award recipients will be invited to showcase their winning artwork alongside a piece by their instructor during the April exhibition at Art League Gallery. A special recognition of the winners and their instructors will take place at the April Gallery Reception on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 5–7pm.
