Nancy Mitchell & Susie Parker Artist Demontrations

Nancy and Susie will be holding artists' demonstrations on Saturday, March 8, from 1 to 3 PM.

Nancy will present a sample version of her class, "Paint Fast in Oils." She will start with a canvas that has been textured according to the subject and underpainted using specific techniques. This approach allows her to complete an impasto painting more quickly.

Susie will demonstrate how she create her sculpture, "Garden Fish." She will carve the foam and cover it with clay, adding the features as she goes. Susie will showcase different completed stages of the sculpture so the audience can see the process. She will also have one completed piece to display the final project.
