Monday, July 20, 2026
(1 to 2:30pm EST)
Your ticket includes access to the LIVE demo via ZOOM plus a copy of the recording, good to re-watch as many times as you'd like for 30 days!
Watch and learn as Jana demonstrates methods for seeing and drawing shapes, shadows, proportions, composition, and design in ways that make drawing enjoyable, relaxing, efficient, and realistic. These techniques align with how we naturally perceive the world, creating drawings that feel alive and engaging. They also help overcome common drawing anxieties, making it second nature to see differently and draw any subject with confidence. Come experience the fun and magic of these time-tested methods you'll be eager to try on your own!
Designed for artists of all levels, this workshop will be broadcast live via Zoom. Every registered participant will receive a full recording of the demonstration, accessible for 30 days. Watch it as many times as you like—pause, rewind, and paint along at your own pace to master each technique step-by-step.
Can't attend the live session? Register anyway! The recording alone provides exceptional value, allowing you to learn with Jana on your own schedule.
NOTE:
Please be sure to Download & Sign-Up for Zoom ahead of time, it's free! We will send you the Link to the session the day before the session. Late registrations will receive the link the morning of the session. You will be able to join the waiting room at 12:30pm to ensure you are set up and ready to go. Attendees will receive a copy of the video the afternoon following the demonstration, which will be good to re-watch as many times as you want for up to 30 days.
While this is a demonstration, and not a class, we do encourage you to ask questions throughout the demonstration because odds are if you're thinking it, someone else is too. We ask all participants to stay muted unless asking a question so that we don't pick up any background noise and ensure participants can hear and that our recording is clear as well.

| Instructor Bio: | ![]() Drawing and painting have been comforting and solace to JANA STILES since childhood. The process nourishes her as nothing else does. Studying with various academic instructors and university professors Jana was left with a hunger for more serious art training and feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to study at the Atelier of Paul Ingbretson's School of Painting and Drawing in Manchester, NH. Paul is one of the very few master teachers who carry on the lineage of the Boston School Painters. From Sargent to Tarbell, Wm Paxton, Frank Benson, the Hale's, Gerome, Velasquez, and JL David the influence of combining the best techniques of color and immediacy of the Impressionists with the skill and accuracy in rendering from the Old Masters and Classical Representational Art is what these painters bring to an unparalleled level of contemporary fine art that will stand the test of time. In addition to the skills and practice of drawing and painting Jana has a fascination with the Creative Process itself, what influences seeing and translating visual impressions onto 2-dimensional surfaces, what internal barriers prevent progress, and how we as humans tend to talk to ourselves while being creative. With a background in Humanistic Psychology and decades of providing professional Health Coaching, she is skilled at helping people move past unhealthy patterns by supporting what is most natural and positive about their unique process. Jana enjoys setting a warm and supportive atmosphere when she facilitates any form of adult learning. It just works faster and better for everyone! Visit Jana Stiles's Website |
