Think drawing is a "gift" that has to come "naturally"? You might be surprised to learn it's actually a skill like any other—and Chris Dreyer is here to show you how easily it can be learned.
Drawing is as much about learning how to see and think about form and space as it is about technique. The drawing itself is just marks on paper, but those marks come together to tell the viewer something about the world that you, the artist, have experienced.
Through this process, you'll also gain a deeper understanding of your subject. As you progress through the exercises in this 2-week class, you'll develop a keener eye for the forms you're observing and become more skillful in representing them. Chris will focus on drawing subjects from the island, helping you connect with your surroundings in a whole new way.
This workshop is designed to build a strong foundation and prepare you for more advanced classes in the arts—whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills.
SKILL LEVEL:
This course is designed for beginner to intermediate level students.
REFUND POLICY:
Ticket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final. Credits or Refunds will not be given for missed or cancelled (by you) classes/workshops.
If a class or workshop is canceled by Art League of Hilton Head a full refund will be given.

| Instructor Bio: |  CHRIS DREYER is an award-winning artist, designer and illustrator. Currently, Chris exhibits at regional shows and galleries throughout the Midwest and is represented in numerous private collections. Although he continues with a commercial design and illustration business, his passion is capturing the beauty of nature through watercolor. He currently teaches watercolor classes and workshops at ALHH Academy.
