Imagine the creative possibilities! Discover the expressive power of painting with a palette knife—a richly tactile and dynamic alternative to the brush. In this course, you’ll explore how to create both smooth and textured strokes, using bold or subtle color to infuse your paintings with life and energy.
Emphasis will be placed on mastering palette knife techniques, achieving luminous color, and composing exciting, well-balanced paintings—the essential ingredients of strong artistic work. Working from studio still life setups and photo references, you’ll complete a finished painting in each class.
The course includes live demonstrations, focused technique exercises, detailed handouts, personalized instruction, and constructive critiques. Suitable for all levels of experience.
