Fluid acrylics are a very liberating painting medium, and the pour technique is just the beginning. In this workshop, we will experiment with various additives that make the paint do amazing things as if by magic. This workshop will focus on how to control and enhance the “look” obtained—and take the design to satisfying conclusion. The flow makes it all happen and the resulting fascinating bright, and nuanced forms are wonderfully beautiful and other-worldly.
All materials— 5 or 6 surfaces of varying sizes will be provided for a $20 fee. (Half hour lunch time; bring your bag lunch or purchase nearby.) Painting with liquid acrylics using the pour method assisted by a few simple tools is fabulously satisfying—and fun. The resulting bright, crisp and nuanced forms are wonderfully beautiful and other-worldly.
Come prepared to be amazed and delighted!!
NOTE:
In addition to the registration fee, students should bring $20 cash to pay for supplies, all of which will be provided for you.
SKILL LEVEL:
This class requires zero experience. It is perfect for beginners, intermediate or advanced level students. Students with any experience level will enjoy this laid-back, low-pressure workshop that will inspire your creativity!
REFUND POLICY:
Ticket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final. Refunds will not be given for missed or classes/workshops.
If a class or workshop is canceled by Art League of Hilton Head a full refund will be given.

| Instructor Bio: |  Born into a family of artists, ALEXANDRA SHARMA learned early a unique awareness of form and space that is manifest in her work. A painter, print maker, sculptor, and art professor, Alexandra has a Fine Arts degree and has studied at the Sorbonne, France, and Oxford University, England. Her work spans over twenty-five years and she is known for unique visual imagery in her paintings and her ability to capture the moment as she works primarily en plein air. Alexandra is a founding member of the Multi Media Arts Guild, Kingston, Canada, and member of Hilton Head Art League, Apple Pie Painters, Northview Group of Artists, and a lifetime member of the American art honorary, Delta Phi Delta.
