Get loose using spontaneous, simplified methods for painting the flora of our landscape from trees, shrubbery, and Spanish moss to pine straw. Learn and practice a new approach for brush technique to obtain a lively, realistic appearance.
Color mixing with an in depth look at greens will be our focus. Come prepared to work in the medium of your choice. Alex will demonstrate in oils and in watercolors.
REFUND POLICY:
Ticket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final. Refunds will not be given for missed or classes/workshops.
If a class or workshop is canceled by Art League of Hilton Head a full refund will be given.

| Requirements: | PLEASE BRING 2 Reds (Cadmium red or other orange-leaning red + Alizarin Crimson or other Crimson) 2 Yellow (Cadmium Yellow or other true yellow and yellow ochre) 2 Blues (Ultramarine + Phthalo, or cerulean) 1 Green of your choice Bring brushes and supports (Paper or canvas or board, etc.) along with clean up materials and containers for water or mineral spirits (oils) to clean your brushes. | Instructor Bio: |  Born into a family of artists, ALEXANDRA SHARMA learned early a unique awareness of form and space that is manifest in her work. A painter, print maker, sculptor, and art professor, Alexandra has a Fine Arts degree and has studied at the Sorbonne, France, and Oxford University, England. Her work spans over twenty-five years and she is known for unique visual imagery in her paintings and her ability to capture the moment as she works primarily en plein air. Alexandra is a founding member of the Multi Media Arts Guild, Kingston, Canada, and member of Hilton Head Art League, Apple Pie Painters, Northview Group of Artists, and a lifetime member of the American art honorary, Delta Phi Delta. Alexandra exhibits regularly at the Charles Street Gallery in Beaufort, SC and at ALHH Gallery. |
